Nuclear power end! demos on may 28, 2011

The fukushima reactor disaster has shown once again that nuclear power is uncontrollable and poses a daily, deadly risk. hundreds of thousands of people are taking to the streets across the country these months and are decisively calling for a nuclear phase-out. however, the federal government does not want to decide until june what consequences it will draw from chernobyl and fukushima - officially on the basis of a safety check of all nuclear power plants. but in reality, public pressure will determine whether the entire nuclear industry is finally over, the eight currently shut down reactors are finally shut down and the remaining ones follow suit.
our chance of pushing through the phase-out has never been greater. on may 28th, large demonstrations will take place in around 20 cities nationwide for the first time on the same day. we want to send a powerful signal to the government with tens of thousands of people. after fukushima there is only one direction left and that is: shut down all nuclear power plants – immediately and finally! the future lies in renewable energies, together with energy efficiency and energy saving.
