to the bnn in my last letter to the editor (re: nobody comes for lectures anymore) i complained that in the upcoming discussion on the demolition of the nuclear power plant (on july 14th, 2015) in philippsburg, enbw and the ministry of the environment had obviously simply decided to implement convenient and cost-effective modalities. in response to this question, ministerial director meinel explained at this event in philippsburg (on june 22, 2015): “we would not be in north korea to demand stricter standards against the top management, and everything is in accordance with the law and limit values should not be exceeded anyway.” u000bnow i read with horror: “the enbw says that all relevant questions have already been clarified with an “environmental impact assessment” by an expert.” is it still okay?u000b
background: the reviewer is the öko-institut. ministerial director meinel was on the board there, as was um untersteller, and both are good friends with their boss michael sailer. in addition, the state government is on the enbw board and is a shareholder. this means: the öko-institut, enbw and the state government are closely linked to one another. do they approve of each other's needs?u000b did i misunderstand something about north korea? i demand that citizens' objections be taken into account first (the subjective and the objective ones) and not checked off internally in advance. i demand real citizen participation on an equal footing - without predeterminations and without fancy, with decisions that are made by consensus.u000b
