view pdf about the productview video about the productdear ladies and gentlemen, enclosed is a letter to the editor about the atomic days in karlsruhe. attached is a current dlf interview with michael sailer (ökoinstitut) - moderator of the itu (now jrc) mediation in leopoldshafen / linkenheim. this was the starting signal (with an eco-label) for the accelerated research on the 4th generation nuclear power plants in linkenheim. mr meinel represented the approval authority in the baden-württemberg ministry of the environment in the mediation process. mr. meinel, mr. sailer, um untersteller all used to work together at the ökoinstitut.
i would be very happy about a timely publication in the bnn.
many thanks in advance.
dramatic development in atomic research.
the last three articles on the atomic days in karlsruhe have shown me the vicious circle of atomic research and the dramatic situation, especially here leopoldshafen/linkenheim, shown. a new technology is being researched here: new 4th generation reactors in a compact design are intended to supply the world with electricity, but also with nuclear weapons-capable material and leave more nuclear waste behind.
everything is happening under the guise of “security research”. in reality, it's about 4th generation thorium liquid salt reactors; these now offer the simple possibility of continuously “tapping off” weapons-grade uranium 233 during nuclear power generation without any detours, which, among other things, enables the outdated atomic bomb potential to be renewed cost-effectively. the detour via today's extremely difficult and expensive technology with a fast breeder reactor will no longer be necessary, and the risk of further proliferation (proliferation) will increase.
as the icing on the cake to this madness, small mobile nuclear power plants (smr) will also be developed in parallel, which will then be able to produce decentralized, "cheaper" nuclear power than before in developing countries, including further nuclear waste.
unimaginable if this horror scenario and this technology become reality uncontrollably, small states, including terrorist states, will soon become nuclear weapons states - thanks to our nuclear friends at kit-nord, the jrc (formerly itu) and others.
but you want to play in the circle of the big nuclear powers and, with the liquid salt reactors, provide one of the most dangerous civilian technologies that have ever been developed!
i think that shouldn't happen anymore in germany, which is supposed to have phased out nuclear technology by 2022 and this research must be banned here.
the fact that mr. meinel from the green environment ministry in stuttgart equates the dangers of a flight with the danger of incorporating radioactive aerosols when dismantling the nuclear reactors or of absorbing radioactive material (according to the 10usv concept) that can get into the soil and groundwater in household waste dumps over time was not worthy of a scientist and green politician. he only gave a disparaging assessment of a call from the delegates of the german medical association 2017 not to do this.
the only ray of hope for me (apart from the gain in information) was that the forum of young students no longer just insisted on safer nuclear power plants, as in 2015, but clearly science and politics insisted on the short-term switch to renewable energies and turning away from nuclear technology and its potential dangers demanded.
