the main difference between the ca59g and the pr-f100 is that the ca59g is driven with v-belts, while the pr-f100 is directly flanged. this makes the pr-f100 significantly more compact,
and there is no abrasion of the v-belts or friction losses.

the ca59g only existed as a 1-phase, 230v version, the pr-f100 is available in both 1-phase, 230v
and 3-phase, 380v.

the torque of the pr-f100 is also something larger, so that even very hard seeds such as rose hip seeds can be pressed, which did not work with the ca59g.

the last difference that is worth mentioning is the consumption, the ca59-g required 1.1kw, the pr-f100. however, only 0.75kw.

the parts of the press chamber are identical and can be used in both machines, but the hopper has a larger opening on the pr-f100, so that there is less bridging in the hopper. the capacity is also identical.

many of our customers press the sunflower seeds with the shell on.
the oil has a slightly more bitter taste than peeled sunflower seeds and is sometimes requested by customers.
with peeled sunflower seeds, care must be taken to ensure that they are heated constantly.
the oil, however, is significantly more neutral in taste (softer in taste).
with the ca 59, they should sunflower seeds should not be too big, otherwise there will be problems in feeding them in.


the oil press / vegetable oil press from the komet series is characterized by a special cold pressing process in which pure conveyor screws are used in the oil press to press out the oil instead of individual compression screws. this means that the oilseeds are pressed gently without constant mixing and tearing. one advantage of the process is that a large number of oilseeds, seeds and nuts can be processed without changing the screws and without changing the oil outlet openings, i.e. with standard oil press equipment.
the komet oil press or screw oil press is particularly easy to maintain because it does not have a multi-part strainer basket, but rather a one-piece press cylinder. this also makes it possible to switch quickly between different oilseeds, which is particularly important when processing small batches. another advantage is the shape of the press cake that emerges from the oil press as pellets and is easy to store and transport. the oil, produced from the oil press / screw oil press, is characterized by excellent quality due to the low pressing temperature and the particularly gentle pressing and, depending on the starting material, can be used as cooking oil without further treatment.
